The University of Southern California (USC) Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Chief Nursing Officer in leading the patient care team and ensuring safety, recovery and comfort of patients across the care continuum.

This role requires adherence to CMS and state regulations, ongoing quality improvement, and collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other units. BSN preferred; 1 year acute care experience preferred; active RN license.

Qualificações

• Graduation from Registered Nurse program; BSN preferred.
• 1 year clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Cardiac Cath Lab IR/EP experience preferred for specific tracks.
• Two years’ experience in Orthopedic and Medical-Surgical nursing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Plan delivery of patient care for the shift; assist charge nurse.
• Precepting and competency validation for new hires and procedures.
• Coordinate assigned team and communicate expectations to staff.
• Contribute to quality improvement and unit planning.
