Job summary

NorthBay Health is seeking an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to provide safe, high-quality nursing care within our ICU and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while engaging with patients and families through a therapeutic relationship.

Requirements include CA RN license, BSN or higher, BLS and ACLS, telemetry certification within 3 months, and TNCC within 18 months or already obtained. ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing.
• BSN degree or higher required.
• California RN license valid and unencumbered.
• BLS and ACLS (AHA or equivalent) required.
• Telemetry certification within 3 months of employment.
• TNCC certification within 18 months of hire.
• National Certification in Critical Care preferred.
• Minimum six months acute care RN experience; ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for ICU patients.
• Use therapeutic professional relationships with patients and families; collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Promote, maintain and restore health following the NorthBay nursing practice model.
