Job summary

Sheridan Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced ICU nurse to deliver direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced environment in northern Wyoming. You will determine priorities, monitor cardiac status, and communicate changes with physicians, while maintaining high standards of patient-centered care.

The role requires Wyoming RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within a year, and 2+ years of acute care experience; ENPC/PALS and TNCC within one year are also required.

Qualifications

• Wyoming RN licensure in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within one year of start date.
• ENPC or PALS certification required within one year of start date.
• TNCC certification required within one year of start date.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care in the ICU.
• Prioritize care based on physical and psychosocial needs.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians with diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition or treatment response.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with supervision.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management.
