Job summary

Centralus Health is seeking an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse in Elmira, NY. The ICU RN provides specialized, high-acuity care, collaborates with physicians and teams, and supports patients and families through the critical care journey.

Role requires NYS nursing licensure (active or eligible), BLS/ACLS within 30 days, and ICU experience preferred. Onsite day shift with weekend/holiday rotation; sign-on bonus up to $25,000 and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Current NYS nursing license, limited permit or eligible.
• BLS & ACLS required or obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Previous critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes promptly.
• Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care and advocate for patient rights.
• Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities.
