Centralus Health is seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse for Elmira, NY. You will provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a fast-paced ED, handling acute illness, injuries, and traumas in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include rapid assessments, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and documenting in the EHR. Requires NYS RN licensure and BLS/ACLS within 30 days; night shifts with weekend/holiday rotation offered.

Qualifications

• Current NYS nursing licensure, limited permit or eligible.
• BLS & ACLS required or obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Provide emergency nursing care including medication administration, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring.
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record.
• Educate patient and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff.
• Work with other interdisciplinary teams.
