Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse with NJ licensure to deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care within our ICU nursing teams.

You will communicate with patients and care teams, administer medications with advanced scanning systems, and document assessments and plans of care while supporting education and discharge planning. A BSN progression is encouraged and certifications like ACLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• 1 year ICU RN experience required.
• Telemetry certification is a plus.
• ACLS certification is preferred.
• National certification is a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs; strong teamwork and focus on patient care.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices per evidence-based care and standards.
• Ongoing communication with patients and care team.
• Medication administration with bar-scanning/documentation tech.
• Electronic documentation of assessments and plans of care.
• Patient and family education for health and disease management.
• Multi-disciplinary discharge planning for safe care transition.
