Job summary

OhioHealth in Cambridge, OH seeks a Registered Nurse for ICU to provide general nursing care within a 24/7/365 department. The RN delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs while following the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and department policies to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Minimum qualifications include Ohio RN license, BLS, and BSN preferred after 5 years of employment. Shift is variable with 36 hours scheduled weekly in the ICU department.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis: perform initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning: document planned nursing interventions.
• Implementation/Evaluation: evaluate responses and revise care plans with the team.
• Leadership: participate in process improvement for clinical quality and safety.
• Operations: ensure safe, efficient department operations.
