Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. The role provides general nursing care across the continuum of care in a 24/7 department.

The RN is accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs accordingly. Responsibilities include assessments, planning, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of care, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in a High Reliability Organization.

Qualifications

• Current RN license from the State of Ohio or multi-state compact.
• BLS certification.
• BSN required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to patients across the continuum in the ICU.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Delegate nursing tasks to LPNs and UAPs per Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Participate in process improvement to improve clinical quality, safety, and efficiency.
