Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati seeks an ICU-trained Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional critical care. The RN will lead patient assessments, develop and execute care plans, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.

Requirements include an active RN license, BLS or ACLS with ACLS within 6 months, and 1 year of RN experience. Pediatric units may require PALS; Mercy Health offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS or ACLS certification; ACLS within 6 months; PALS required in pediatric units if applicable.
• 1 year of RN experience required; 6 months in Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown or ED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and plan care.
• Implement treatments and evaluate effectiveness.
• Synthesize information to take evidence-based, patient-focused action.
• Anticipate changing patient conditions and respond promptly.
• Administer medications safely per policies.
