Job summary

Mercy Health in Springfield Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the ICU team. The role focuses on assessing patient status, prioritizing needs, and implementing intensive care interventions for critically ill patients.

You will develop and execute care plans, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and maintain a safe environment while adhering to state licensure and professional standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year RN experience is required.
• Current state RN licensure is required.
• BLS or ACLS preferred at hire; ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire; PALS preferred in lieu of BLS/ACLS for pediatric units.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct and analyze initial and ongoing patient assessments, create a plan of care, implement treatment, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Synthesize information and prioritize actions with clinical judgment in fast-changing conditions.
• Administer medications safely per state practice and organizational policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
