Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking an experienced RN for the Med Surg ICU in a PRN capacity. The role requires applying the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, maintaining confidentiality, and coordinating care with other departments.

Compliance with Mercy mission and service standards is essential. Qualified candidates have a nursing degree, an active RN license (state or compact), and at least 2 years of ICU experience, plus BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Experience: 2+ years of ICU experience.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for patient care and confidentiality.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Performs duties consistent with Mercy mission, values, and service standards.
