Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. The RN collaborates with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to support patients and their families.

Responsibilities include administering medications, wound care, wound dressings, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring effective communication of patient needs through electronic documentation and discharge planning with the care team.

Qualifications

• RN licensure KY or compact state is required.
• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer from non-ICU area.
• BLS certification is required.
• One to two years of clinical nursing experience preferred.

• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• Provide respiratory and ventilator management and monitoring for patients.
• Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

Skills

ICU experience (preferred)

ACLS within 6 months

BLS required

Two years clinical nursing (preferred)

Education

Job Summary And Qualifications

• ICU experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• BLSrequired
• Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer fromnon ICUarea
• One to two years clinical nursing preferred
