Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY, is seeking an ICU CCU Clinical Nurse Coordinator to direct and coordinate unit functions on designated shifts. You will work with the management team to assess quality of patient care and ensure safety and effectiveness of nursing care.

You will lead care planning, monitor patient status, and educate patients and families, while upholding infection control standards and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
• RN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, record, report, and follow through on symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Create and maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and modify the plan of care.
• Delegate nursing tasks as appropriate but retain accountability for patient care.
• Provide individualized education for the patient, family, and caregiver throughout the continuum of care.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards in patient care.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Under the general supervision of the unit’sdirector, theClinical Nurse Coordinator assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions in the unit on his/her designated shifts. In collaboration with other members of the management team, this individualis responsible forthe ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in unit.

What you will do in this role

• You will assess, monitor, record, report, and follow through on symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• You will create and maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• You will consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and modify the plan of care, as indicated by the patient’s responses and conditions.
• You will delegate nursing tasks as appropriate and safe but retain accountability for patient care.
• You will provide individualized education for the patient, family, and or caregiver throughout the continuum of care.
• You will adhere to standards of safety and infection control, in the delivery of patient care.

What qualifications you will need

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
• RN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
