Qualifications

• RN license required by state
• BLS CPR certification required
• Acute care experience (1+ years) preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff and ancillary departments to optimize patient care and communication.
• Document patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plans and interventions to improve outcomes and adjust as needed.
• Ensure infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care to healthcare team members.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond promptly to code situations and provide necessary interventions.
