Job summary

AdventHealth in Hendersonville, NC seeks a registered nurse to assess, diagnose and plan patient care within a collaborative team.

You will implement care plans, document accurately, educate patients, and participate in quality improvement. RN license and BLS required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Qualifications

• RN required and licensed to practice in North Carolina or compact license.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; bachelor's preferred.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and diagnoses patients' and families needs to provide quality care.
• Develops and communicates realistic problem lists for each patient in collaboration with the patient and family.
• Implements medical plans of care, nursing interventions, and procedures using necessary skills and judgment.
• Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided.
• Promotes effective working relations and works as part of a team to meet departmental goals and objectives.
• Maintains current knowledge, certification, and licensure, and pursues ongoing professional growth and development.
• Provides patient education and support to address identified needs.
• Monitors and evaluates patient progress and adjusts care plans as necessary.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
