Job summary

UCHealth seeks an RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with day and night rotation in an onsite Denver setting. This role requires a state RN license and ~6 months ICU/PCU experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship.

You will provide direct patient care, participate in nursing education, and uphold safety and quality standards within a high-acuity environment. The PCU position emphasizes precepting and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• ~6 months ICU/PCU RN experience or UCHealth Fellowship.
• Clinical orientation and precepting support may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Models proficiency through precepting new staff and students.
• Contributes to safety and quality at the point of care.
• Direct care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a complex environment.
• Adheres to AACN's Synergy Model and specialty certification standards.
• Clinical Educators support specialty education and training during orientation.
