Job summary

Trinity Health St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve in the ICU Float pool, with float coverage to PCU as needed.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, leveraging nursing judgment and the nursing process across adult populations at the Ann Arbor site. The ideal candidate holds a BSN or commits to obtaining it within five years and has a current Michigan nursing license with at least one year of relevant hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• One year of recent nursing experience in a hospital with similar patient populations.
• BSN degree required or agreement to obtain BSN within five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care applying the nursing process.
• Float within the ICU and PCU as needed within the Ann Arbor hospital.
• Participate in orientation and training on equipment, processes, and procedures.
• Support the Nursing Resource Pool in maintaining appropriate patient ratios.
