Adventist HealthCare's White Oak Medical Center in Montgomery County seeks an experienced Patient Care Technician for the ICU to support nursing care under supervision. The role emphasizes patient safety, daily living activities, and adherence to care plans.

You will perform vital signs, assist with ADLs, participate in education programs, and contribute to a culture of safety. This full-time position offers night shifts, weekend rotation, and holiday coverage with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Successful completion of a CNA or first year Nursing School Program and CNA exam.
• Maryland CNA license required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Physical ability to lift, bend and turn.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Strong computer skills for communication.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow care plan as established by the RN.
• Participate in department education, meetings and professional initiatives.
• Maintain safety culture and report equipment issues.
• Prepare and maintain work areas and supplies.
• Present a professional image representing nursing and the organization.
