Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a safe, organized environment.
• Collect and record vital signs and patient data, reporting findings to the RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with meals, feeding, bathing, grooming, and mobility support using walkers or wheelchairs.
• Collect urine/stool samples and perform blood glucose monitoring; document results.
• Communicate patient information to the care team and adhere to infection control and PPE protocols.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols; participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• May provide continuous visual observation of the patient as required.
