Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) to join our fast-paced ICU team. Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, you provide hands-on patient care and support to promote wellness and comfort.

This full-time night-shift role includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus, strong benefits from day one, and clear opportunities for career advancement through Mercy’s clinical ladder. No prior experience required; CNA/CPTC certification is preferred and Mercy offers training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA/CPTC certification, enrollment in a healthcare career program, or current Mercy co-worker preferred.
• No prior experience required – Mercy will train you.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs in the EMR.
• Assist patients with meals, hygiene, toileting, ambulation, and transport.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
• Perform PCA duties and PCT responsibilities including phlebotomy and wound care as assigned.
