Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patient-centered care under RN supervision. The role includes measuring vital signs, assisting with daily activities, and reporting concerns to the care team in a fast-paced ICU setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of patient care work experience in a health care facility or CNA preferred.
• BLS certification required upon hire and maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, etc.) and patient condition.
• Assist nursing staff in administering basic treatments.
• Keep patient rooms tidy and stocked with supplies; ensure linen is clean.
• Provide emotional support and communicate patient concerns to care team.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
• Assist with use of cardiac monitors and routine checks.
• Support department leaders with assigned duties.
