Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support a decentralized, patient-centered care model under RN supervision. The role requires a high school diploma and BLS certification within two weeks of hire, with opportunities for growth as you progress to PCT II through training and experience.

Expect 36 hours weekly on rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced hospital environment where patient safety and teamwork are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required for Technician I.
• II level requires either an associates/bachelor’s degree or healthcare experience or active enrollment.
• Eligible CNA or CMA certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 2 weeks of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, perform multi-skilled patient care activities.
• Support a decentralized, patient-centered approach to care.
• Maintain compliance with BLS and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to achieve clinical outcomes.
