Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System in Illinois is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join the ICU team at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon.

The PCA will provide bedside care and support to patients while assisting nursing staff to deliver high-quality care in a hospital setting. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of nursing assistant/PCA experience (or 6 months with CNA/PCT certification), and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year nursing assistant or PCA experience; or 6 months nursing assistant or PCA experience with CNA/PCT certification.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities
