Job summary

Adventist Health in Bell Gardens, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Manager for ICU to lead the unit on day shifts within a large, faith-based health system.

The role requires strong leadership, clinical operations oversight, and collaboration with physicians and staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care, staff development, and regulatory compliance across the ICU. Bachelor's in nursing required; Master's preferred; extensive acute care and management experience valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• At least five years of technical nursing experience preferred.
• At least one year of leadership experience preferred.
• Two years of acute care nursing in hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build a high performing clinical work team and mentor staff.
• Set/goals for patient safety, quality of care and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct daily rounds with physicians and staff for coordinated care.
• Directly manage staffing and overtime to ensure coverage.
• Coordinate throughput and throughput improvements across the unit.
