Job summary

Adventist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) ICU - Intensive Care Unit Lead in South El Monte, CA. This role leads unit operations, collaborates with management, physicians, and staff to deliver high-quality critical care.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, state RN licensure, supervisory experience, and a commitment to patient safety. Advanced degrees or certifications are preferred, with a focus on continuous improvement and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
• Master's Degree: Preferred
• Five years' technical experience: Preferred
• Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills: Required
• RN licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required

Responsibilities

• Provides unit-based leadership in collaboration with Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff.
• Supervises and directs activities of nursing and ancillary personnel.
• Ensures cost-effective, professional care with high patient safety and satisfaction.
• Assesses and improves quality of patient experience.
