Adventist Health is seeking an RN Manager for the ICU in Whittier, CA. This role leads front-line nursing and ancillary staff to deliver safe, holistic patient care while ensuring efficient operations.

You will supervise personnel, coordinate daily activities, and drive improvements in patient outcomes and staff satisfaction. The position emphasizes collaboration with physicians and department leaders, staff development, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Five years of technical experience preferred.
• One year's leadership experience preferred.
• Two years of acute care nursing in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds a high performing clinical work team by recruiting and retaining skilled staff.
• Sets and strives to achieve goals for patient safety and quality of care.
• Conducts daily rounds with physicians and coordinates care.
• Directs and monitors nursing staff to ensure adequate patient care and quality of work.
• Manages unit staffing, overtime authorization, and scheduling with minimal absence.
