Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech to provide hands‑on, compassionate care at the bedside in Louisiana. You will assist with data collection for assessments, vital signs, and daily care needs, while maintaining a safe, clean environment and supporting patient comfort.

The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and ongoing professional development. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect data for patient assessment including vital signs, weights, and glucose monitoring.
• Assist with patient hygiene, nutrition and personal care needs and related tasks.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in patient care areas.
• Complete patient rounding as assigned to drive satisfaction and safety.
• Seek opportunities for knowledge growth and career development.
• Embrace teamwork and follow directions in performance of duties.
