Qualifications

• Education: ADN required; BSN preferred.
• RN license required; temporary license/Graduate Nurse licensure accepted prior to NCLEX.
• No previous experience required; candidates with more than 12 months of experience are not eligible.
• RN licensure in good standing with applicable nursing board.

Responsibilities

• Attend quality and core curriculum classes and participate in professional development.
• Record patient data and perform nursing assessments under the supervision of a licensed RN.
• Develop and revise care plans with input from the care team and family.
• Provide treatments, patient education and discharge teaching under supervision.
• Document patient care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
