Job summary

The University of Miami is seeking a Nurse Educator 2 for the Inpatient Critical Care Services (CVICU and SICU) to lead education for nursing and clinical staff across multiple sites in Miami.

Under the supervision of the Nurse Educator 3 and Manager, you will assess learning needs, develop programs, support onboarding, ensure competency, and promote retention by fostering collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of related nursing education or clinical experience.
• Valid State of Florida RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Nurse Educator 3 to assess and implement educational programs.
• Develops and evaluates activities to address identified knowledge gaps.
• Coordinates onboarding and orientation for nursing staff.
• Ensures competency documentation and retention strategies are in place.
