Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center Lake Pointe, Rowlett, Texas, seeks a Registered Nurse in Nursing Professional Development Generalist to enhance education for learners across ICU, CVICU, Cath Lab, procedural areas and Med Surg. This role supports patient outcomes and staff development with flexible scheduling.

You will develop and assess education plans, collaborate with teams, and ensure evidence-based content is implemented within a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• At least two years of pertinent experience is essential.
• RN license and BLS certification; if not BLS, obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Create and assess professional development programs aligned with current methodologies to promote ongoing learning.
• Identify staff needs, work closely with various teams, and modify educational material to suit those needs.
• Help implement education plans and create a positive environment to reach our goals.
• Design and assess educational activities and projects and engage learners while implementing evidence-based content.
• Use reliable methods to evaluate program outcomes and adjust material based on data collected.
• Build relationships with community education programs and weave ethics through all aspects of educational practice.
