Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Nurse Apprentice to join a fast-paced ICU team. This part-time role involves night shifts (7pm–7:30am) in a Level II trauma center with care for diverse, high-acuity patients and a mix of neuro, medical, surgical, and trauma cases.

You will work under the supervision of RNs to provide direct patient care in a 21-bed ICU, with schedule flexibility across weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the State of Idaho, OR Nurse Apprentice application on file with Idaho State Board of Nursing, OR Trinity Nursing Assistant Program completed.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required at hire in all units (AHA/ARC/Military Training Network).
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to competently care for Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities and non-professional services under RN supervision to support personal needs and comfort of patients.
