Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Registered Nurse to join our Medical ICU at our Level II Trauma Center near I-184 and Curtis Rd. This full-time night shift position places you in a 10-bed unit dedicated to cardiac critical care and high-acuity patients.

You will administer medications, perform essential procedures, educate patients and families, document assessments and interventions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care and smooth

Qualifications

• You currently hold an Idaho or multistate RN license.
• If you have a multistate license you would need to establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 6 months of hire.
• You have your Basic Life Support.
• You are willing to obtain your Advance Cardiovascular Life Support for HealthCare Provider (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized care with expertise, compassion, and a commitment to patient-centered approaches in our state-of-the-art intensive care unit.
• Administer medications and perform essential procedures to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide patient education and support to enhance health and wellness.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure a smooth transition for patients.
• Contribute to a tight-knit team with strong leadership, a supportive environment, and opportunities for professional growth.
