Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a Nurse Apprentice to join our nursing team in the ICU, a Level II Trauma Center. The role involves caring for a 21-bed unit with mixed critical care patients, under RN supervision.

Schedule is 2 shifts per week, 7pm–7:30am, with flexibility for weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed. This position emphasizes growth within a faith-based health system that values patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing (ISBN) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers required at hire unless ACLS/PALS already held.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to care for Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric patients.

• Perform patient care activities and related non-professional services under the direction and supervision of the RN.
