Job summary

Qualifications

• Active, current state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate on hire.
• Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care; critical care preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the ICU.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other staff.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and results.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition and maintain patient privacy.
