City of Hope is seeking a Registered Nurse for ICU PRN Nights to direct patient care using the nursing process in collaboration with patients, families and the healthcare team. This role focuses on safety, quality, and evidence‑based practice in a high‑acuity ICU setting.

Requirements include a GA RN license, BSN, BLS and ACLS; oncology and ICU/step‑down experience are preferred. Schedule follows PRN nights: 7p–7a, with opportunities for growth within a nationally recognized cancer center.

Formación

• Current Georgia State Registered Nurse License required.
• BSN required or enrolled within 6 months of hire and BSN completed within three years from hire date.
• Current BLS required (Obtain AHA certificate within 30 days of hire)
• Current ACLS required (Obtain AHA certificate within 30 days of hire)
• 1-3 years RN experience in a bedside care setting preferred
• Oncology experience preferred
• Recent ICU and/or step down preferred

Responsabilidades

• Directs the care of the patient through the nursing process and collaboration with the patient, their family and other health care professionals.
• Continuously assesses patient needs and communicates any changes in patient condition to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Plans, delivers, directs, coordinates, and evaluates therapeutic interventions based on the assessment process.
• Provides patient and family education regarding the disease process, treatment side effects, and health promotion.
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies and accrediting agencies; engages in performance improvement activities.
• Obtains patient medical history and medication information and documents appropriately in the medical record.
