Qualifikationen

• Current Georgia State Registered Nurse License required.
• BSN required or enrolled within 6 months of hire; completed within three years.
• Current BLS required (AHA certificate within 30 days of hire).
• Current ACLS required (AHA certificate within 30 days of hire).
• 1-3 years RN bedside care experience preferred.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Recent ICU and/or step down experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assess patient needs through a holistic approach and communicate changes to physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Plan, deliver, coordinate, and evaluate therapeutic interventions; supervise care by unlicensed staff.
• Provide patient and family education regarding disease, treatment side effects, and health promotion.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and accrediting agencies; participate in policy development and quality improvement.
• Obtain patient medical history and medication information and document in the medical record; verify physician orders.
