Job summary

Ardent is seeking a Night Shift, full-time ICU Registered Nurse in Montclair, NJ to deliver expert patient care in a high-acuity setting. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for critically ill patients, using the nursing process from assessment through discharge.

Ideal candidates will hold an NJ RN license, have 1+ year of ICU or PACU experience, and maintain ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications; Epic experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as an RN in a hospital PACU or Critical Care Unit.
• Current NJ State RN license.
• ACLS and PALS certified or obtainable within first three months.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• Basic Arrhythmia Training completed or obtainable within first months.
• Ability to initiate IV therapy, draw blood, and perform EKG/Phlebotomy.
• Ability to manage airway including mechanical ventilation.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
