Job summary

Ardent is seeking a night shift ICU registered nurse in Montclair, New Jersey, full-time, to deliver patient care through the nursing process in a high-acuity unit.

The role requires an associate degree in nursing, NJ RN license, and certifications (ACLS, PALS, BLS) with on-boarding to meet competency; Epic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as an RN in a hospital PACU or Critical Care Unit.
• Current valid NJ State professional Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS (obtainable within the first three months of employment).
• PALS (obtainable within the first three months of employment).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Training
• Ability to initiate IV therapy, blood specimen collection, point of care testing, perform EKG, phlebotomy (skills obtainable within the first three months of employment)
• Ability to manage a patient’s airway including us e of mechanical ventilation.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
