Job summary

Monterey Park Hospital in the San Gabriel Valley is seeking a Registered Nurse for our ICU Unit. This is a full-time, 12-hour night shift position reporting to the Director of Critical Care Services.

The RN provides care, treatment, counseling, and health education to hospitalized patients, coordinating care from admission through post-discharge, and ensuring compliance with DHS and TJC standards. The role requires BLS/ACLS and CA RN licensure, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN - preferred.
• Current CA RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required.
• CCRN - preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse provides care, treatment, counseling, and health education to hospitalized patients.
• The RN is responsible for planning and coordinating care from admission through post-discharge.
• Meets and exceeds DHS, TJC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
