Montclair Hospital Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift in California. You will deliver direct patient care in the ICU, coordinate with physicians, and mentor other staff, following the nursing process and maintaining privacy.

Requirements include an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and relevant critical care experience; BSN preferred and CCRN preferred for career growth. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process.
• Provides direct patient care within the ICU scope of practice.
• Directs patient/family teaching and guides other nursing personnel.
• Communicates changes in patient condition with physicians; manages monitoring and tests.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
