Job summary

Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU on nights. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care in a high-acuity unit, with primary responsibility for adult patients and adherence to ICU nursing standards.

Graduate nurses and experienced RNs with Texas licensure are welcome to apply. BLS is required; ACLS/PALS or certification within first year is expected to be completed to maintain ICU readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Maintains current RN license with Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Current BLS certification.
• Maintain current ACLS and PALS or to be obtained within first year of assignment to ICU.
• Experience in critical care and/or orientation/education.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for all patients during shift.
• Adhere to established standards of Intensive Care Nursing Practice.
• Care for patients in all age groups, with the majority being adults.
