Job summary

Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. The role is a full-time night shift (7pm-7am) with a 36-hour workweek and every third weekend, plus rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in IL.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
