Job summary

Responsibilities

• Advocates for quality outcomes for patients.
• Applies nursing process to patient and family education to promote management of health care.
• Assesses patient data and signs, symptoms, and needs to plan care.
• Monitors patient conditions through observation, rounds, and data input.
• Coordinates bed and patient care assignments during shift for consistency.
• Plans and evaluates care in collaboration with disciplines.
• Directs and guides other health care workers and delegates tasks.
• Documents assessment data, interventions, and patient outcomes.
