Job summary

Glenwood Regional Medical Center is seeking an Intensive Care RN to direct, plan, and organize ICU nursing activities for an assigned shift, focusing on patient, physician, and staff needs. The role delivers skilled care through the nursing process, coordinating with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Louisiana license in good standing, ICU experience preferred, and BLS required within 30 days of hire;

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Louisiana nursing license in good standing with the Louisiana nursing board is required.
• ICU nursing experience is preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications due within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, and organize ICU nursing activities for assigned shift.
• Deliver skilled nursing care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care among patient/family, medical, nursing, and ancillary staff.
• Advocate for patients and maintain current nursing practice standards.
