Job summary

Tampa General Hospital's InterHealth Staffing is seeking a Contract RN in Medical ICU for night shifts. Under general supervision, you will deliver nursing care across the life span, plan and document care, assess patients and communicate with the care team. This 13–26 week assignment focuses on potential conversion to permanent employment with competitive pay.

Requirements include Florida RN licensure, BSN and BLS/ACLS (American Heart Association). National certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Florida RN licensure to practice in the state of Florida.
• BSN and BLS/ACLS with American Heart Association required.
• National Certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in relevant Med/Surg Division required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care to patients across the life span under supervision.
• Plans and implements nursing care; documents assessments and reports situations needing intervention; communicates goal-directed plan of care.
• Provides professional nursing care within the Specialty Staffing Team.
• Performs duties aligned with Tampa General Hospital's mission, vision and values.
