Job summary

InterHealth Staffing, the staffing division of Tampa General Hospital, is seeking a Contract RN for Medical ICU night shifts. The role includes delivering comprehensive nursing care across the lifespan, with emphasis on accuracy in documentation and collaborative care planning within a Magnet-certified, high-acuity environment.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Florida RN license, and BSN with BLS/ACLS. Prior Med/Surg or ICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
• BSN and BLS/ACLS per American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care to patients throughout the life span, neonatal through geriatric.
• Plans and implements nursing care; documents assessments, reports needs, and communicates care plans.
• Provides professional nursing care to patients within the designated Surgical/ICU units.
• Adheres to the hospital's mission, vision and values.
