Job summary

Tampa General Hospital’s InterHealth Staffing division seeks a Contract RN for the Medical ICU, Nights. You’ll provide professional nursing care across the patient life span within a Magnet-certified academic environment and follow established policies under supervision.

Requirements include Florida RN licensure, BSN, and BLS/ACLS; 1 year of Med/Surg experience; National Certification preferred. This contract offers competitive pay with potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
• BSN and BLS/ACLS with American Heart Association required.
• National Certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in relevant Med/Surg Division required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care to patients throughout the life span, following policies and guidelines.
• Plans and implements nursing care; documents assessments and plans of care.
• Provides professional nursing care within the assigned clinical division.
• Performs duties in line with Tampa General Hospital's mission, vision and values.
