Job summary

Lowell General Hospital, part of Tufts Medicine, is seeking a Nursing Support professional to provide basic patient care under nursing direction. You will perform ADLs, assist with meals, monitor vitals, and help maintain a safe care environment in the ICU/main campus setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS, and at least 1 year in health care; CNA certification is preferred. This on-site, night-shift position includes weekend and rotating holiday coverage and opportunities for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification.
• One year of health care or nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform ADLs and patient care with safety.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
• Prioritize care per nursing direction and discharge plans.
• Transport patients to procedures and discharge.
• Operate equipment safely and correctly.
• Assist with meals or feeding as needed.
• Collect specimens and monitor vital signs as required.
• Report changes to the nurse immediately.
• Provide one-on-one observation as required.
