Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln is seeking a Care Partner for ICU shifts from 7pm to 7:30am. The role supports staff and patients by maintaining a safe, caring, and healing environment under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac activity, assisting with activities of daily living, and performing EKGs and finger-stick glucose tests. A high school diploma and BLS/CPR certification within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• CNA or completion of 1st RN semester required.
• High School diploma required.
• BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Applies cardiac monitor in alignment with approved policies, procedures, and physician orders.
• Documents and reports care delivered to patients under the direct supervision of an RN.
• Promotes patient comfort and mobility through ambulation, turning, and repositioning.
• Assists with activities of daily living, performs EKGs and finger stick blood sugars and bladder scans.
• Supports relationship-based care by providing compassionate, holistic care to patients, family, and co-workers.
