Job summary

Advocate Health’s St. Luke’s Medical Center Internal ICU Float Pool seeks an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to support multiple critical care units. The role emphasizes versatility, teamwork, and high-quality patient care on nights with a 0.9 FTE schedule.

Requirements include an accredited nursing program, RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and 18+ months ICU RN experience. Weekend shifts and ongoing professional development are expected.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Experience: Minimum 18 months of ICU RN experience (2 years strongly preferred).
• Flexibility and ability to meet scheduling expectations per 6-week period.
• 1 weekend (Sat-Sun Shifts).
• Commitment to ongoing learning, adaptability, and teamwork across multiple care environments.
